Rastreio epidemiológico da adesão das mulheres ao exame citopatológico no Piauí e sua importância

چکیده
O exame citopatológico configura-se como a principal ferramenta de rastreio do câncer colo útero, que é o terceiro mais incidente em mulheres no Piauí. Este está relacionado à infecção persistente por subtipos oncogênicos vírus HPV (Papilomavírus Humano), principalmente HPV-16 e HPV-18, os quais provocam lesões podem ser facilmente identificadas pela colpocitologia oncótica.
